Organising a birthday gathering from businesses on this site

A birthday gathering is a good way to use muslimowned.sg. You usually need food, a place, and someone to help with setup. The directory and Search help you find those in one place.

When a business is named in a story, we link the public page at /biz/…. That page tells you how to contact the business, and it shows when they last confirmed that they are still operating.

Start with the gathering, not a category tree

Write what you need in plain language — twelve people, east of the island, food that the family can share — then see what comes back.

Typical groups:

• Décor, rental, photography

If a listing appears below this article, the owner asked to be listed and an admin has already reviewed the evidence they chose.

How to use a listing

Open the business page and you will find:

1. A public contact email the owner chose to share.
2. Websites or profiles if they added them.
3. The date they last confirmed the page.

From there you can contact the business directly and ask about dates, portions, or a site visit.

Link a listing from a future story

Editors add businesses in the article file:

• In Markdown: [Brand name](/biz/brand-slug)
• In frontmatter: businessSlugs: [brand-slug]

Both feed the businesses mentioned at the bottom of the story, which is also useful for people arriving from search.

When there are no published matches yet, this note still stands on its own. Add slugs as owners publish, and invite the first owners to list a business.
